My Story…

My love of photography began in high school with a Pentax K1000. I was captivated by the darkroom—the smell of chemicals, the red light, and that moment when an image slowly appeared on paper. It felt like magic. The idea that a fleeting moment could be captured, developed, and preserved forever still amazes me to this day.

Then life happened—work, marriage, family—and the camera took a back seat for a while. When my first child was born, I picked it up again. Digital photography was just beginning to replace film, and I bought a Sony 2-megapixel camera to capture those first smiles, crawls, and steps. From that point on, I was hooked all over again.

In 2010, I opened a small gallery in Port Jefferson, on the north shore of Long Island. I loved meeting people who connected with my images—hearing their reactions, sharing stories, and knowing that a print would hang on their wall for years to come. Balancing a full-time career and a gallery proved challenging, and by 2012 I made the difficult decision to close it. Still, the desire to share my work never stopped. Over time, that passion found its home on social media, and now, finally, here—on this site.

This collection represents over two decades of images. It’s the anchor of my art—the place where my work and journey come together. Whether you’re here to explore, connect, or purchase a print, I’m grateful you’ve stopped by.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way. After fifty-plus years on this earth, I’ve learned that being behind the lens—facing an epic landscape, city skyline, portrait, or live event—is where I feel most alive.

I hope that passion shines through in every photograph.
