Autumn Stream

I’ve been a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright’s work for most of my life.

I finally had a chance to visit one of his most famous structures in Mill Run, Pennsylvania named Fallingwater. The house is stunning to your eyes- it’s cantilevered over the Bear Run River, stands three stories tall, and blends magnificently into the surrounding forest and trees. The falls weren’t raging, and a portion of the house was being restored, but it was still amazing to see, walk through, experience and breath in… it feels like a living building as you wander its rooms and take in the view through the expansive windows.

I’ve included a blog article and a special image portfolio dedicated to Fallingwater simply because I fell in love with this spot.

No house should ever be on a hill or on anyting. It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together each the happier for the other

Simplicity and repose are the qualities that measure the true value of any work of art

I don’t create a fantasy world; I create a reality of fantasy
